Las Dalias founded in 1954 in a roadside bar in San Carlos a destination that became a meeting place for al the locals of the village then people from other small communities like Es Canar began making it a regular haunt for buying or selling anything.
Some time later after the word spread the whole island started visiting the bar on certain days of the week and this now world famous place was born.
With its popularity and local fame, it became the number one meeting point for anyone living on the north of the island and by the late 60s it was a top attraction for tourists.
The bar started to attract more and more people from all nationalities packing the place which left the owners no alternative but to extend the premises making it the superb venue it is today for parties and events such as weddings and of course the markets etc.
There have been lots of changes over the years included people from around the world coming to make and sell their wares in the market.
This still exists today with an unforgettable atmosphere from the minute you walk in, its like entering another world and you are really because it was a time and life style that will never be the same again.
Las Dalias first opened with a Saturday market in 1985 and it soon became another huge success and one of the best on the island.
Open all year round it has amazing stalls selling hand crafted items and clothing with a touch of typical Ibiza fashion.
In the summer season, there is a night market with live music and they serve superb food and drinks till the early hours.
