Mels Bar & Restaurant

Mels bar owner ‘Kate’ arrived in Ibiza for the first time in 1973 for a holiday where she caught a very naughty virus ‘The Ibiza Bug’.

Kate ran the bar and restaurant in the popular holiday complex ‘Can Sanso’ for a few seasons then when a great opportunity arose in the town centre.

Now a phenomenon and huge success story Mels bar is now in its 21st year and Kate can still be seen strutting her stuff on the terrace welcoming and chatting with clients old and new.

Kate prides herself in being the first British Bar & Restaurant on the sea front of Santa Eulalia, here we are still the number one English Breakfast and Sunday Roast in town.

Please pop in and say hello when in Ibiza for your holidays, we would love to meet and greet both old and new friends.

We used this Café Bar when we were in Santa Eularia and the food was very good especially the breakfast, even in the rain it tasted good. Nice waitress and quick service.

We always like to go here when on holiday, the food is always good and the service is friendly. Nice to sit in the shade during the day for a col drink.
We don’t use Mel’s at night time because of so much noise from the many TV’s around the area.
Amazing to see people watching the adverts when on holiday or glued to their mobile phones. Times have changed!

This is a brilliant place to go to to feel welcome and the food and atmosphere are great.
I met Kate Angie and Georgia here and loved the way they are with everybody
The best traditional English food but it appeals to my Spanish friends as well
